Press 1 For English!
Anyone in the USA who has called a support line or a local utility company for help with a problem has most likely been prompted to push 1 for english. My question is this, "Why in the hell should I have to push 1 for english in my own damn country"? This argument can also be extended to include the fact that when you do press 1 for english you most likely will end up talking to someone who can barely speak english and cannot comprehend the language enough to understand your question. I cannot count the times I have e-mailed technical support of various companys only to receive a reply that has nothing to do with the question I asked. If you do not understand and comprehend the english language you will not be able to efficiently respond to the question.
I am a United States citizen born and raised. I should not have to jump through hoops or press 1 to speak to someone in english in a country where the native language is english.

So the basic line here is:the language in THIS country is ENGLISH.Learn it or go the hell back where you came from!
Me beeing from Germany there is no tollerance for this BS.If you know Germany just a little bit you'll know that there is only ONE tolerance and its GERMAN.....so maybe America needs to finally put her foot down as well.
I love beeing able to speak many languages but I'll be damnded to teach my kids Spanish just so they are able to communicate in their OWN FREAKING COUNTRY,where the language SHOULD BE ENGLISH.
