Stag Beetle!
Run For Your Lives
This Stag Beetle landed on our front porch last night and had the girls running for their lives.
Posted by Eric Von Zipper at August 17, 2006 07:58 AM | TrackBackLOL...we had one of those about a month ago in the dog bowl outside.I took it out and put it on a tree 20 feet away but an hour later he was back in the dog bowl.So we took him in the fron and put him on top of the BBQ cover and he just sat there for a while then was gone......we AGAIN found him out back in the dog bowl!LOL
So we caught him in a critter keeper and Bacon kept it for alike a week as a pet.Then he let him go.....have not seen him since.LOL
I thought it was an interesting bug but we never find out what kind.It was HUGE too!
We did have Mindy running with it tho.hehehe
yep, its a Stag Beetle and it must be the one you let go. LOL
