Bumble Bee In Flight!

This shot was a total accident. I was trying to get the shot as he was sitting on the plant but he decided to take flight just as I pressed the shudder button.

21 Dollars A Week?

First off let me start by saying that there "are exceptions to every rule".

We have governor Ted Kulongoski of Salem Ore (a left wing Democrat) who is spending a week living off of 21 dollars worth of food stamps in order to show everyone how difficult it is to feed a family on a food stamp budget. He says this is a issue that everyone in that state should be aware of. Is it just me or is this the United States Of America. The land of opportunity where any legal citizen who wants to get off their fat ass and work hard to succeed can have most anything he or she wants. If you are living off food stamps (tax payer money) then I would say you failed to make the right decisions for yourself and now you want to take money out of the tax payers pocket to feed your face. Its much easier than being responsible for yourself isn't it? According to the left we are supposed to feel sorry for the individual who has to live off of 21 dollars a week for food. Sorry, you will get no sympathy from me. I cannot count how many times I have stood in line at a grocery store behind one of these so called "pitiful poor" with at least two carts full of food and watch as a 300 pounder slaps down a food stamp debit card to pay for it all. If they are living off of 21 dollars a week for food then they are either very good shoppers or this whole 21 dollar thing is a bunch of shit. No one eats that good on 21 dollars a week, no one.

9 times out of ten if you are on welfare it is by your own choice. You are one of the "give me" generation who would rather take than to work hard for what you get. The next time you are standing in line at the grocery store and the person in front of you pays for their grocery's with food stamps just say to them "you are welcome". If they ask what do you mean just say "because that is my tax money you are spending to feed your face".

I just love this country.........................

Planet Earth!

I have read a few articles pertaining to the Discovery series "Planet Earth". It seems that there are people who are actually offended by the footage showing animals killing animals. Their argument is that Discovery is showing too much violence and not enough serenity and beauty of the planet. I completely understand that a lot of people have a problem watching death and killing (it is gory and gross after all) but it is part of the process that sustains life. Unpleasant as it may be for some people I don't think they should completely shield themselves or their children from it.

The human race is no different. Its all a matter of survival and humans as well as animals will do what ever it takes to survive. Even though humans do not rely on their instincts as much as animals do, you can bet your ass that when it comes to surviving man will revert back to his primal instincts without hesitation to live another day. To hide from or deny this fact is to live with your head buried in the sand of ignorance.

Animals and insects were on this planet long before man and will be here long after. If I had to bet on one or the other my money would be on the latter.

Nappy-Headed Hos!

So CBS fired Don Imus for calling the Rutgers womans basketball team "Nappy-Headed Hos" but no one ever calls out Al Sharpton or Jessie Jackon for the raciest comments and lies they have told over the years. Just more left-wing BS and I am Glad it is out there for all to see. With all the crap going on in the world these days this is all anybody can get upset about. How pathetic. Sooner or later someone needs to bring down the race baiting, media whores like Al and Jessie. After all fair is fair. Why are people so scared of them? Because they are Negro's? Who knows. How soon will other talk radio personalities become victims of this left-wing agenda. Say one wrong thing and your fired. Damn this shit is getting boring. This country is becoming boring as well. Maybe Flibby should take note. When you call people names you will be held accountable in one form or the other.

The Flibby Flip Part 2!

Here he is once again posting about another group of females on a New York subway train who were not moving fast enough and once again the name-calling begins. Here again a man is running his mouth at woman and calling them names. He makes the point that this time it is not tourist but locals that have become the target of verbal abuse by another male and once again he agrees that petty name calling is warranted because these girls would not move fast enough for this so called man. Like the fact that these girls are locals makes any difference. The post ran like this:

"Guy to group of teenagers after doors close on crowded train: You know, in this city we move in on the trains.

Girl #1: We're not tourists, you know.

Guy: Then you should know better.

Girl #1: Oh, just shut up.

Guy: Didn't your father teach you to act better?

Girl #2: Her father is dead.

Guy, after slight pause: Well, maybe that's why she's such an obnoxious little twat".

Flibby's response to the post was this:

"And I completely agree that she is an obnoxious, little twat".

It would not surprise me in the least if the male he keeps referring to in these posts were none other than himself. And why is it that the post are never about a man who ran his mouth at another man? That’s easy, most men would not even think about confronting another man in this way unless he just wanted to get his ass kicked. Woman are easier targets and we all know most woman usually will not become physical with a man in a situation like that. A real man would not treat woman like that. If one cannot convey their displeasure to someone without calling them names then they are the ones with the problem. I can only hope that one day Flibby is going to flip on someone one to many times and that someone decks him hard enough to require his mouth to be wired shut. By the way, no one called you a fucking idiot but an argument could be made I guess.

It's a good thing he moved to New York City. I am sure he fits in just fine.

The Flibby Flip!

The people of New York City have always had a reputation for not being the nicest people in the world. As a matter of fact when you ask people what they think of people from New York City you will most likely get the answer "assholes" or "dicks". I am sure this description does not fit all people from New York City (as there are always exceptions to the rule) but their reputation most certainly precedes them. I was over at flibbertigibbet a couple of days ago and read a post about a woman and her two teenage daughters who were visiting New York City from Tennessee. From what I read New Yorkers are not very fond of tourist who stop on the sidewalks to sightsee and if you are from the south you are considered an idiot. Especially if you happen to stop on the sidewalk to look at something. The post ran like this:

Suit #1: For the love of God, move, you idiots! There are people walking behind you!

Tourist mom: You don't have to be so rude!

Suit #2: He's rude? You clearly see this is a busy sidewalk, and yet you stop dead in the middle and block all traffic!

Tourist mom: He didn't have to say it so rude -- we are not from around here!

Suit #1: And does that somehow excuse your being idiots and stopping in the middle of a busy street?

Tourist mom: At least we are not so rude in Tennessee!

Suit #2: That explains the idiocy, but it still isn't an excuse.

Tourist mom: That was unnecessary!

Suit #1: Perhaps, but it's true.

Suit #2: Here, maybe this is more polite: Welcome to New York. Slow walking idiots prone to stopping for no reason stay to the fucking right of busy sidewalks, and don't get in the way of the non-mentally impaired locals. Now fuck off.

First of all, if the three woman did stop in the middle of the sidewalk and these two fucking assholes ran into them, then the two fucking assholes should have been watching were the hell they were going. They were most likely playing with each other or talking on there cute little cell phones instead of paying attention to what was going on around them. Did the woman deserve to be called idiots? Of course not. Did the fact that they were from Tennessee make them idiots? Of course not. The fact here is that these two jackass's found it necessary to make bigoted statements toward the three woman because they were woman. I doubt very seriously they would have reacted the same way had it been three grown men from Tennessee. Its much easier for men to belittle woman than it is for men to belittle men. Clearly these two suit wearing assholes had issues and yelling at woman makes them feel macho. Macho being a relative term.

Now we come to the person who made the post. He used to live here in the south and moved to New York about a year or so ago. I responded to the post by saying this "The morel of the story is......just because you wear a suit does not mean you have any class". Boy did that get Flibby panties in a wad. His response was this:

"I would say that the moral of the story is "Just because you walk upright doesn't mean you have a brain."
I hate those dip shits who stop in the middle of the sidewalk and I'm glad those guys stuck it to them. It's just like the people who stop at the top of the subway stairs to look around.
The mom and kids are clearly in the wrong here."

Who the fuck is he to be judging people. He lives in New York City after all. Another poster added his distaste on the subject and of course Flibby responds by saying this:

"You're mistaken: No one is surprised that there are tourists or tourists acting like jackasses. It's a common enough situation. This isn't shock and awe you're seeing. It's justified anger and frustration.
Those tourists were probably walking more slowly than the rest of traffic and walking shoulder to shoulder, too.
They were being dicks and shit-heads first.
This galls me in all contexts: people who act completely oblivious to other people and their surroundings.
These are the same people who leave their candy wrappers and cups in the movie theater. These people litter. They stop to talk to their friends in a narrow hall or doorway. They stop short on busy sidewalks. They walk to the front of long lines and pretend to be confused when someone tells them to go to the back -- but sometimes they're successful in cutting in line. They're people who drive slowly in the left lane. They're people who speed up to keep others from passing. They talk loudly on their cell phone in stores and elevators. They're people who wait for 10 minutes in line at McDonald's and still don't know what they want when they get to the cashier.
They're assholes.
These are people whose discourtesy is so extreme that it can only be borne of willful, practiced negligence and stupidity.
It isn't relevant that those two suits had to stop to make their point to that idiot woman and those window-licker children.
The suits didn't stop because they felt it was their duty. They did it because they were rightfully angry at those people for being so rude.
You can try to be polite if you want to, but it's not required. And it's more likely that being polite will not effectively educate the offenders.
I promise: those boobs won't soon forget their encounter with those suits and what caused it.
Further, the reputation that New Yorkers are dicks is misapplied. I've found them to be generally quiet but direct people. They are quick to anger, yes, but I have yet to see a New Yorker yell at anyone for no reason or be rude to someone who wasn't already being an ass-hats".

This goes on for a few more post. Both battling it out in cyberspace. Here is the kicker, both I and the other poster have been banned from posting on his flipping blog for disagreeing with him. Thats right folks he can dish it out but he cannot take it. This little pantie waste moves to New York City and within a year or so becomes a fucking asshole dick just like the rest of them. Congratulations on your promotion to being a Grade-A-Asshole Flibby.

Just who is the real idiot here anyway. Grow the fuck up.

By the way Flibby, if you do find and read this post you can be sure I will not ban you for disagreeing. :-)

There Must Be Some Reasion!

Lets see, I am sitting here at 12:30 am all by myself and desperately trying to come up with something to say. Jerry is out in the camper van asleep. He bugged out on me after a couple of hours. He is moving to Arizona this weekend and all I can say is Bye, Bye.

OK, I am listening to John Mayall and wondering what to do next? Its perplexing to say the least. Does this mean the end? Yes, I think it does and the irony is that I agree. Its like I had no control in the first place aside from knowing different. Man, I tell ya, the thought of it scares the hell out of me. Sanctimonious this, sanctimonious that, why would anyone believe different.

Its just a matter of time, and when that time comes destiny will revert back into its self and the beginning will be the end again. I hate it when that happens.

Oh well, we cannot have everything can we. I will be signing off now. So, until next time, Peace, love and continuity. :-)
